Secretary-General | Neal Singal
Interested in public speaking, politics and international relations, Neal has enjoyed being a part of MUN since his freshman year. Now a senior, Neal aspires to work as an investment banker and study finance in college. Outside of MUN he is the president of the debate team, plays baseball, and loves to watch Suits. Neal is beyond excited to get to know all the delegates at SouthMUNC V, and looks forward to hear the ingenious ideas they'll bring to the table.
Secretary-General | Vaibhav Mangipudy
A fan of tough questions and philosophical dilemmas, Vaibhav has found Model UN to be a defining part of his time in high school. Aside from competing with South’s MUN team, he also swims year round, is an avid trombone player and fan of jazz, and enjoys teaching. Vaibhav also enjoys research, varying from neuroscience to health policy; if you happen to see him around SouthMUNC feel free to start a conversation or a debate! In his spare time, he enjoys expanding his jazz playlist on Spotify, reading the Wall Street Journal, and trying new foods. He is extremely excited for the best SouthMUNC yet, and can’t wait to meet all of you.
Director-General | Kush Bhatia
Fascinated by current and historical international issues, Kushagr was captivated by MUN since freshman year. Now a senior, Kushagr wants as many people as possible to have the same, unforgettable experience that Kushagr had.Outside of MUN, you can find Kushagr crossing people up on the basketball court, vibing to the newest music, or just hanging out with friends. Kushagr is extremely excited to see what great ideas and solutions the delegates of SouthMUNC V will present to their committees.
Chief of Staff | Olivia Jurcisin
Incredibly interested in global and domestic politics, Olivia has cherished MUN since becoming involved. Aside from MUN, she is a part of the field hockey and winter track teams, and is an officer for her school's chapter of NHS. Outside of school, Olivia engages in community service through the organization Homefront, as well as interning for the Fund for Women and Girls, and being an officer for her club, established with other friends, Unapologetically Female, which holds events to help empower and educate young girls on different issues regarding gender equality. She is excited for SouthMUNC V, and looks forward to seeing the staff and delegates' hard work pay off!
Director, Registration | Vishesh Shah
Captivated by international issues and the power of rhetoric, Vishesh became involved in Model United Nations as a freshman and has cherished every moment since. Aside from MUN, Vishesh is an active member of his school's Student Government, volunteers to play soccer with kids with physical and mental disabilities, and is working towards his Eagle Award in Boy Scouts. Down the road, Vishesh hopes to combine his passion for business and science to improve the lives of others. Vishesh is ecstatic to meet the delegates of SouthMUNC V and the innovative ideas they bring to the table. Lastly, he hopes that everyone has a memorable experience at SouthMUNC V, having learned more about diplomacy, debate, and their topic.
Deputy Director of Registration | Sahil Srivastava
Fascinated with international affairs and interested in addressing international issues, Sahil has been captivated with MUN since his freshman year. Aside from MUN, Sahil enjoys singing in a capella, coding and creating visual art, and assisting intellectually disabled students. He cannot wait to meet with all the delegates at SouthMUNC V, each avidly arguing unique positions, as they debate and resolve complex predicaments across the globe.
Deputy Director of Registration | Yatin Srinivash
Enthralled by foreign affairs and the potency of persuasion, Yatin became involved in Model United Nations as a freshman and remains as one of the most profoundly formative and influential aspects of his high school experience. Aside from MUN, Yatin is an active member of his school's Debate Team and SAASA, is an officer of the Echoes Magazine and The Academic Decathlon Team, and volunteers to tutor underprivileged children at the Boys and Girls Club of Trenton and Lawrenceville. He is currently working towards completing his Eagle Scout Rank in Boy Scouts and is preparing for his states tournament for Varsity Ice Hockey. Yatin looks forward to meeting all the delegates at SouthMUNC V, and aspires that they leave committee with a better understanding of foreign diplomacy, politics and an overall superior MUN experience as they develop a love and passion for the lifestyle that is Model UN.
Director, Media & Technology | Himaja Vendidandi
Interested in Foreign affairs and culture, Himaja has enjoyed being a part of MUN since her freshman year. Aside from MUN, Himaja is the president of the Future Problem Solvers club, a part of a nationally awarded robotics team, plays lacrosse, and is working towards her Gold Award in Girl Scouts. She is ecstatic to meet all the delegates at Southmunc V and hopes that everyone walks out of the conference having learned more about the world, diplomacy, and themselves.
